Dr. Nishat Fatima is an Associate Professor at the Department of Library and Information Science at Aligarh Muslim University. She completed her B.L.I.Sc., M.L.I.Sc., and P.hD from the same institution and an M.Phil form University of Delhi. She specialises in Reference and Information Sources, Science Library Cataloguing, and Library Management. She is also a life member of Indian Library Association.
She is actively engaged in research supervision and mentors doctoral students. Her intellectual and valuable guidance is the reason many scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degrees. Apart from that, her research papers are frequently published in peer reviewed journals at national and international level.
