Professor in the Department of English at the University of Mumbai
Dr. Coomi S Vevaina is a Professor at the Department of English in the University of Mumbai. She is also a Visiting Faculty at the Department of Education (University of Mumbai) and the Department of English at S.N.D.T. University. She has a PhD in Literature, as well as Education.
In addition to being an educator, Dr Vevaina is an internationally-acclaimed literary critic, creative writer, teacher trainer, storyteller and spiritual educator. She has authored nine books. She also has fifty-five research papers published in national and international journals as well as critical anthologies.
She has been bestowed with numerous awards and honours for her research work. Her power and passion for teaching have led her to create a deep connection with children, young adults, parents and educators across the world.
