Head of the Central Library of Indian School of Mines

Dr Partha De is the Head of the Central Library of Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad, India. He obtained his PhD degree in Library and Information Science from Dr B.R. Ambedkar University in Agra. He has a number of formal qualifications ranging from certificates, diplomas, bachelors, and master’s degrees in Library and Information Science.
Previously, he worked with private organisations including the TATA Group where he served as the Chief Librarian at TATA Chemicals Limited in Uttar Pradesh. He has also served as an external expert of the “Geetanjali-Net” project of Visva Bharti University, Shantiniketan.
He has published and presented a number of research papers at a national and international levels.
